Just bought an aztec sala 8 for myself and 14year old daughter. Good price and looks massive for the pair of us. Any advice on the quality of this tent. Its a tunnel type with fibre poles. Looks easy to erect - we are not novice campers, but new to buying!!!!!

Sorry, I don't know anything about your tent, but I believe Aztec are reasonably good tents. I'm sure someone who owns one will be along shortly to give you some advice.
hi there, we bought the sala 8 last year, used it 3 times, easy to put up, and stood up to alot of wind and heavy rain over on the east coast! haven't used the 2 berth bit tho, butso far so good
I used to work for one of the better makes of tent and Aztec used the same factory in China. The quality control was very good and the workforce were treated very well, which relates to top quality product. The two berth inner part near the big door is an after thought. Aztec added this in 2005 to add a bit of extra value. I dont know anyone who uses this inner. Anyway be rest asured Aztec tents are very good quality if a bit simple, no bad thing.

We have an Aztec sala 6 which has stood the test of time. Good quality & easy to erect. We looked at a lot of tents before we bought the Aztec and have been very pleased with it. I bought a set of Delta pegs which certainly hold it all together nicely.
