I have the same problem with my Khyam Ridgidome xl. The outer has a saggy corner on the beack of the bedroom and touches the inner. Its worrying me so much I have avoided using this tent yet but it looks like I'm gonna have to take it to the Deer Park meet in July - so I'm praying for a dry week. I bought my tent s/h last summer and had this problem then when i erected it - twice - once in my garden and once in my mums garden. We moved house in the winter so last wleekend i followed the instructions carefully and made sure the land was completely flat but the same thing happend. I'm at a loss on how to rectify it. In fact the sag is so bad on the outer 3 inches of it lies completely flat on the floor pushing down on the inner. So I am sorry I cant offer any advice but am posting in the hope someone may point us in the right direction. I think I am going to take my 3man dome tent camping with me just in case the bedroom leaks.
I don't know whether this will work, but it may be worth a try. The Rigidome XL only has a bedroom on one side, right? Could it be possible that the weight of the bedroom fabric and poles is causing the central section to be put up slightly 'skewiff'? (i.e. leaning towards the bedroom section.). This would partly explain the sagging surplus fabric. Once it is up, try adjusting the tri-guys on the opposite side of the main section to pull the main section in a direction away from the bedroom. Obviously you don't want to skew it too much and compromise its stability, but you may not need to pull it far to take up the slack on the opposite side.
It may be worth a try anyway.
Even with the inner and outer touching I don't think you will have major problem with any 'leaking' - just some damp patches on the inner. Our kids are pretty bad at leaning bags up against the inner or pushing their airbeds too far to the sides so that the inner touches the outer, and we've never really had any problem with our Khyam.
Hope you get it sorted.
