Hi, I can not decide what would be most useful the Carnopy, Quechua's Tarp or Tchibo's windbreak and sunshield? Would like to use when camping but also when out and about (doing car boots/ picnics). Carnopy looks great but the Tarp seems to have so many more uses (cheaper too).
Has anyone bought any of these products are they as good and useful as they look?

I ordered one of these Tchibowhich is good but huge! Wouldn't fit on our pitch with the Hartford XL so sending it back and got a Kyham Shady Windbreak instead. Just pitched it roughly in garden and looks good. Can adjust to put top down etc.
The Carnopy is a good shelter, but limited to your car. If you have a big car (I've got a Sharan) and don't mind staying with it, it will do well. Ideal for car boot sales. BUT - I've lost some poles for mine
The Quechua tarp is a much smaller package, but requires more work to set up a shelter. You would need extra poles to give the same sort of shelter as a Carnopy. I've slept under my tarp. Have a look HERE to see what can be done with a tarp.
I also ripped the eyelets out of my tarp at Fforest Fields in strong winds and 2 sides don't have a midway eyelet, I've stitched a patch on and fitted my own.
The Carnopy is ideal for keeping in the car. the tarp needs a bit more planning.
Take the poles out of the tarp package and you can carry it in a rucksack for emergencies - just use walking poles.
