The fact that all of the 'Khyam Ridgidome Classic' range can easily be pitched singlehanded, is not the only asset they have over other tents in a similar price band...
Due to the excellent design, they are extremely stable in bad weather conditions, no worries about poles twisting, snapping or bending out of shape... The materials and quality of build mean they last!... I bought an 'XXL Classic' five years ago and used it often, for three years. When I replaced it with the smaller 'XL Classic' I passed the tent to friends with a young family, they've been using it for two years now and it's still in 'A1' condition (no leaking seams after five years, let alone new!)...
You get a set of 'parts' (auto & universal joints etc.) with the tent, should you have problems. None of these have as yet, needed to be used!... All of the main poles are 'aero quality' aluminium, none of these have needed replacing either... Should the worse happen, 'Ridgidome' parts are widely available and not expensive to replace...
So you see, you don't only buy 'the quick erect system' with the 'Ridgidome Classic range' you also get 'peace of mind' that your tent will not fail you in 'wind, rain or (hopefully!) sunshine'. Which is something that you can't always guarantee with some other tents, at the moment...
