Back it goes then, think I will give it one more go (if they have any in stock). At £265 I thought I was getting a bargin but it seems i am getting a nightmare!
Coincidence that you should bring this up - I've just bought an awning for my van, and the instructions from Sunncamp are: "The Moto has its seams hot air taped to help prevent leakage. To maximise the awning's weatherproofing it is necessary to treat the remaining seams with a seam sealant". I was a bit suprised by this. I've never had to bother with tents I've had in the past.
I agree with other members....take it back and on no account attempt any repairs! I had a problem with my new tent and I returned it to Blacks. They replaced it within 5 days no questions asked! Hope you get the same level of service! Good luck Emmilou!
You may occasionally get a tiny drip of water from a toggle point stictch, and most tents suffer from condensation to a greater or lesser degree, but ten minutes with a hose shouldn`t give a puddle inside.....unless you were directing the hose straight at the zip?
