We bought an Outhouse last year to cook in. It was great, but we have decided that for next year we want a day tent. We would like a little more room, and to be able to cook and eat in the tent. We wouldn't cook or eat in our proper tent as a. I don't think it's safe to cook in and b. it has a SIG.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I know that some of you have said that you havent had to pay any extra for a 'day room/kitchen' but do you tell them when you book?? Or just turn up put both up and see if they say anything??!!
We used to use two tents, a modest sized dome tent plus a Khyam Garden Shelter for cooking & eating - it looked very similar to that Khyam Screenhouse just up there <scrolls page up a bit>.
It all worked very well, as long as we stuck to sites that charged per person and not per tent.
That came to an end when both were damaged in high winds, so we opted for a tunnel tent - loads of room with full standing-up room everywhere.
This works even better.
