I'm not the most massive fan of it - but I know others on here love it. However we're going to use it for our next trip to try and fall in love with it as I do like the living space and its wonderfully light.
It takes us about 40 mins to get it all up and the groundsheet and bedrooms in. This is what really put us off to be honest as we only really camp at weekends and by the time we'd got all the stuff in it was taking forever. (However we're now not using airbeds and all that so that part of the setup will be easier I hope). I'm actually (in a sad way) quite excited about getting it out again. It did us really well for a week in Holland with variable weather last August - and it really is very well made.
Its not got a sig - but for 2007 they've released what looks like very similar but with a sig and called it the Phoenix

Hi, Could anybody advise who has the pegasus model if they find that its cold/draughty? due to it not having a sig, and also does the groundsheet for the living area cover the bedroom area's or just living area ?
Does anybody have the size once packed, or a picture would be even better.
Well have ended up getting one, went to see the new phenix at a local camping shop and really liked the look of it, also saw the pack size which is quite a bit smaller than our SV8 so got a Pegasus 6 2006 for the bargin price of £115 which i thought was very good.
Does anybody know if any of the canopies from other manufactures fit on to the front or side doors of this tent? and any tips on erecting the tent would be great will try in the garden once the rain stops!.
Hi, I've got a Pegasus 6 as well. Wish I'd got it for £115 though! In terms of pitching the main groundsheet does go under the bedrooms as well so remember to put that in before the bedroom pods (sounds silly but we forgot the 1st couple of times). Other than that I pitch it as per instructions from a thread on this site ie put the 4 main living space poles in 1st then 1 person go underneath it and lift whilst the other one clips the ends in.
We haven't found it draughty, have only had it since April but our old tent didn't have a SIG either and never had a problem with that.
I'm considering getting a Coleman Classic Awning like this:
It says that it fits all family tents so thought it would be worth a go and it isn't too expensive if it doesn't. I was thinking about trying it on the front entrance. If I do I'll let you know if it fits. I think they do it in grey as well.

We have just bought the Pegasus 6 at the great price of £115 from United British Caravans and cant wait to go on our first camping trip - we have one booked for September but plan on going before then too.
I am also looking for storage and space saving solutions/tips/hints/advice due to limited space and two dogs.
The tip re the furniture polish is duly noted - many thanks
