we just sold our aspen, we found a review of the 700 on this site in the features/ tips section which you may find helpful. It is a lovely tent but we found it difficult to erect but thats probably just us! Hoping the Bearlake will be easier. Good luck and enjoy the new tent

Hi Louise; We have the 700DLX and it's a beauty! Bought ours in 2006 when the instructions for putting it up called for someone to be standing in the tent. The latest instructions (if you don't have them go to the Vango website and they have a video) tell you to pitch it like a tunnel tent with additional cross sections which is much easier. We manage to pitch in around 40 minutes now which is good for a tent of this size. One thing to keep in mind is the footprint it needs at 8.5 x 5.5mtr minimum with guys. When booking sites tell them the space you need - most are OK but there is a thread on sites taking large tents worth looking at. Space, comfort and a great looking tent - what more can you want?
