Being British, driving a German car to the Irish pub to have a Belgium beer and getting a takeaway Indian or a Turkish kebab, to take home and sit on furniture from Sweden watching American shows on your japanese tv.
buying a property in Spain and taking ski ing holidays in France, having an Au pair from Romania, and supporting a football team with foreign players and manager.

My old mum was like that. Many years ago she asked what we were having for tea and when I said "Curry", she said she didn't like that "foreign muck".

I asked her what she was having and her reply was, "Spag Bol!".

I had to keep quiet and exit stage left, quickly, or I'd have got a clip.

When my daughter was small she went through a phase of asking where her food came from and if the answer was a cow or a sheep she wouldn't eat it. One day she was having dinner with her Nan and was given sausages. She asked where they came from and Nan said, 'Marks and Spencer'...she ate them.

From then on all her food came from the supermarket. She is 44 now and probably still thinks beef and lamb is made at the supermarket
