BT.
A word of warning,I had massive problems with dropouts and speed and they sent an engineer to investigate,he changed the faceplate as a matter of course but that didn't solve the problem and after 5 hours he said there was a network problem and it would be resolved in the coming months.I waited for over a month and complained that the fault was still there but they said as 28 days had elapsed it was a new fault and the faceplate change was the initial problem.
They charged me for the engineers vist 2 months after his visit and deny the problem was on the network and say that the time the engineer spent was doing enhancements.
Insist on written confirmation for any communication with them including telephone conversations and keep it for future reference.
When I asked for details of their communications with them they insist I need to pay £10 to access it under the Freedom of information.
They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with!
I don't know how I managed to post this in the jokes spot but I can assure you it is no joke far from it.
Saxo
BT is a joke.
The fittings on a pole near us was “serviced” and it served several properties.Just after servicing a fault was reported. The engineer came and repaired the one connection.and said the wrong copper fittings had been fitted. When he was asked about the other phone lines from the same polehe said they had the same fittings but he could not replace them as they had not been reported as faulty. He came back a week later when the next one was reported faulty but still left the others until they became faulty at intervals of a few days.
I was with BT years ago and had nothing but trouble. It was like having a weight lifted off my shoulders when I was finally able to free myself from the contract. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy...well actually, I would!
