Isaac met Samuel, passing in the street.
"Why so dismal?" asked Isaac.
"Terrible news," replied Samuel "my son has decided to become a Christian".
"Oh, commiserations" sympathised Isaac.
A few days later they met again.
This time Samuel said "Why so dismal, Isaac?"
"My son also has decided to become a Christian" was the sad reply.
So they sat down and discussed what they should do. After awhile they decided to go to the synagogue and pray for guidance.
This they did. "Lord, what shall we do? our sons have become Christians!
After about 5 minutes of this, a loud booming voice said:
"What are you two whingeing about - the same thing happened to me!"
