 I guess if its for walking it would be the adventurer model with pre loaded OSmaps, I dont know of many car sat navs that have this option and if it was possible to add they would not be as weather proof as the road angel. Road Angels camara data base is considered one of  the best,infact the new Tom Tom Live units use this data base.

 Another benifit is you can use the camara facility independantly of the sat nav,so you dont have to have the sat nav running if you know where you are going.You do need to suscribe to the cameras,about £4 a month.

Only had a demo in a outdoor shop once but seemed a very good unit,I think you could do something with Memory Map too,which again is good for walking,I dont think there is anything better for cars and walking but am sure somebody will be along who can add,a great present though !
