My Hubby has had a pair of Brashers for the past 20 years. They have finally given up the ghost so we replaced them with an emergency pair for him to use on a walk yesterday. Got these Trespass boots They were very comfortable and totally waterproof - and boy did it rain on us! They also do a ladies version, and have the vibram sole which I have always found comfortable.

I can highly recommend Merrell Outbound boots - they are fabulous.  Well I say "they" I have only tried one boot on. My better half has bought me them for Christmas so I tried one on leaving me the excitement of trying "them" on on Christmas day!
