Hi All, I am taking my grandson camping and sea fishing at half term and although we have fished areas of Anglesey and Caernarfon I would be grateful if any one knows of any good fishing spots in these areas, bearing in mind I am not as young as I used to be and he is only 10, so safe spots please. Thanks
When I was a kid we had a caravan on a site at Dinas Dynll (sp) just past Caernarfon so my dad could go sea fishing. The beach is narrow and pebbly with parking directly behind it. There was nothing there when we had our caravan on a farm site but I believe its more commercialised now.
Hi mate try holyhead breakwater this is a good venue for plenty of species plenty on doggies wrasse pollock and makeral to name a few we usually fish the inner wall(usually have kids with me) use 2 rods 1 at distance and put a float on the other size 16 hooks with pieces of rag worm you will probley be more busy on that rod than the distance one.LL65 1yg
