Hi
Wondering if anyone has some suggestions please. We are going to Hillside, Verwood, Dorset in June. We are hoping to see lots of things in the new Forest, but also go down on to the Jurassic Coast area. This is a part of the country I am unfamiliar with so would really appreciate some days out suggestions where the dog will be welcome, especially as I've ordered hot sun so we wont be able to leave her in the car.
I'd particularly appreciate recommendations for a quiet dog freindly beach, and other attractions suitable for a 10 year old and the dog.
You can walk anywhere in the New Forest. Just beware that you will come across ponies, cattle and deer. A very good walk would be the area taking in the Reptile Centre. They may also have bird cams there. It is a sign posted walk so you should be able to get details from tourist information.
I went to Exbury Gardens near Beaulieu last week, which is looking beautiful at the moment, and there were loads of people with dogs walking around the gardens - all on leads of course. They even have dog waste bins.
