My company has the scheme. Its offered twice a year for a 3 week period each time. You choose a bike from a shop which is on the list of suppliers- most local bike shops are. You get a monthly deduction from your salary over 12 months- then you " buy" the bike from the company for one more slightly elevated payment. The total saving is 40-50 % of the retail cost of the bike. You cant lose really.
I considered it this time but decided against as I already have a folding bike which I hardly use.I stopped cycling 7 years ago when I got a dog as needed to get home and did more walking.
Now that Im dogless ( she died in January) I hope to do a bit more cycling again.....
