 We have just got confirmation for a SUN £9:50 holiday . To South Wales In April .

It started off with paying  £ 38 . For 4 persons .With the tokens . Then we took out the Insurance . Another . £9:50.

Then the passes for entertainment cost £38. the linen £13. .

Because we requested an Upgrade from a Standard Caravan . To a Luxuary caravan . It cost us another £20.

Took It to over a hundred pounds .

So we checked the site for prices for the week In april . And they advertised at £299 to £319. So I think we still got a bargain .

We’ve been on some of them in the past, even with all the extras its still good for 4 of you, we used to live in south wales, it’s a nice drive down the 483 & there’s some beautiful scenery, enjoy your hols.

I guess based on the example above you could have the £9.50 deal + the linen charge & not the add ons but if you choose to take the add ons its still a reasonable deal.

Can't really see a problem with it as long as folks read the whole of the offer. Its still a inexpensive short break.

Hi All. Longtime lurker, 1st time poster, so please be gentle...

Been on a few of these, some good... some not so good, but I'm over it now! 

Careful perusal of the list of participating parks will show some which include entertainment passes and sometimes even your electricity.

We used to decline the linen and take sleeping bags for the kids and sheet & duvet for us grown-ups. And insurance for a 38quid holiday... couldn't really see the point, so to answer Tigermouse's question, Yes. Paid £38 only for Mon to Fri at a site I can't remeber the name of at Burnam in Somerset (I think).

Trouble is, it's a bit pot luck. If you get a good site it's a cheap base from which to explore somewhere new for a few days. But we've had a couple of stinkers, the Burnham one had double booked "our" caravan, and then one on the Isle of Wight had me queueing for an hour and a half through the bingo hall just to check in... Felt like I was taking part in a livestock auction!

They served a purpose when we couldn't otherwise afford a holiday, but I don't see us going on another.
