Not much help I know but I was looking for the same thing last year and came up with a blank - couldn't find anything as comfy as my old Merrells which had given up the ghost after 17 years service. I ended up with Berghaus which become a bit uncomfortable after about 8 miles or so.
The best boots are the ones that fit most comfortably.
Go to a shop where they know how to fit boots rather than just sell you a pair. Take your walking socks and be prepared to spend an hour or so trying on different makes and styles.
I've tried about five different makes and now have two pairs of Meindl boots.
Hope this helps.
