I do hope that you are an experienced "kayaker" There's nothing more dangerous than a canoe/kayak sideways on a wave and the person not having a clue what to do. It seems to happen a lot with people who come from using inland waters and then when they go on the sea for the first time...

Get your self the South West Seakayaking guide book available from Amazon for £19 . We use both the south west and Wales guides and there a fantastic source of information regards tides wind swell and genarel conditions you might exspect .Contact phone numbers coast guard harbour masters etc etc .
