The Lumiere Festival is taking place from the 17th to the 20th November in Durham City. This was last held a couple of years ago & was brilliant (& free!) Lots to see & do after the sun goes down. Well worth a visit.

now it has been and gone. Wonderful event, but logistics were poor and lots of people were angry at the organisation. Spoilt the night for us even though the displays had lots to offer. Interesting foing to the lectures about the displays too. Gave a lot of insight into the event and what the displays were all about. Lovely city (but don;t tell the southerners, they'll only come and spoil it)
