hi , you will have a great visit to Liverpool . Its my home town and we do have MORE Georgian buildings than Bath. Its true. The tourist places that have been mentioned are exceptional , the waterfront by day or night is a sight. We do have a heritage walks and we even have more parks than any other city so try to get to Sefton Park. (Aigburth). We do have fab cheap bus travel so if you feel brave take a bus around the city even in the open top so you can spot your views . Bus travel around the city all day on Arriva is less £4.00 - that unlimited bus travel . I suggest you jump the buses , (Merseytravel will help in the bus station in "liverpool one ! - on the waterfront in the city
Are you camping near Liverpool and if you are can I ask what site you will be using please as I could fancy a trip there if it isn't too far away from Liverpool.

Not this time no, but I can say the last time we visited Liverpool for the day we stayed at Abbey Farm at Ormskirk, a short drive into Ormskirk and then jump on the train, was ideal.
------------- May/June - Spring Valley
Aug/Sept - Leekworth
My mum was chatting about the blitz last night, she was telling me how she rescued an oil covered duck from the Mersey during an air raid. After nursing back to health, she released it at Sefton Park, and visited when she could. As I was leaving, she said,"I wonder how it's getting on?" Bless!
