I was given a gift voucher at xmas for the World of Wings experience at Cumbernauld near Glasgow so I decided to pop along last week to check it out.
The bird handling was really interesting and I reckon it would make for a great family day out!
Here are some of the pics I took on the day :-
Been there..done that...last year. Amazing getting up close and personal with so many raptors. and getting to fly them was a highlight of last year...And I recommend it to anyone...
On the strength of our visit.Jamie(my son) became a volenteer and is up there working each weekend, You may have run into him Jim....
Once again...Great piccies..Brought back some good memories..

------------- Campers of the storm,Into this world are born
It was midweek when I visited, Jelboy, and it was blowin a hoolie straight from Siberia! Still, good fun though! I was pleased with the photos, was trying out my new camera.
Thanks for posting those pics. We went there last year as my eldest son is a bird of prey fanatic. I have just showed him your pics and he named them all.
We go to Cobleland campsite once a year and always take a walk into Aberfoyle. There is usually a chap from World of Wings with a few birds next to the Wool Centre. We are going there in May so hope to see them again
