I tried quad biking, aged 57, on my daughter's hen weekend. I loved it. Both the slow balancing and manouvering on hills and troughs as well as speeding across open fields.
Try anything, you have plenty of time to regret what you didn't try.
Of course you're not too old!! Just make sure that you have the equipment you need to keep yourself happy and comfortable.
When I was 21, I went camping after not having done so since I was a teenager. The ground was so hard and I was so sore! "I guess I'm too old to sleep on the ground", I mourned. Fortunately, soon after that I discovered thermarest pads and have been tenting happily every since! (I'm 49.)
i was 55 when i took up scuba diving ,62 when i took up underwater photography to go with it ,the only thing that stops me going out to the red sea now is a miserly pension ,so i go camping instead at a very spritely 66
