 I managed to run my local half marathon . In very hot Scorchio conditions around 20C degrees . It was a brillant day for all the supporters and spectators . Unfortunately there were lots of runners who pulled various muscles and ,the ambulances and medics were kept busy with runners who got de-hydrated .
I was very pleased to finish the race. But In a very slow time as It was really to hot for running . It did not suit me as I did all my training In the Winter and Spring In cold and cool conditions .
Also lots of money was raised for various charities . Which was great also .
