Who takes inflatables on holidays?
Which ones are best?
Where have you paddled.
Tips and advice?
We've had several Sevylors over the years ... currently we use a Sevylor Yukon and A WildAdventure.
We've used them in up to Grade 3 waters and many canals and flat rivers ... starting on sea trips soon.

Thanks mattlad!
My pleasure!
Incidentally if you alter a couple of letters in your username and add a 'p' you get the name of the manufacturer of folding kayaks:- Klepper

I have a Sevylor Sport SK100, which I love, and I've now bought a SK200 (secondhand) so my daughter can join me .... just waiting for the weather to get better so I can go for a paddle and I'm hoping to be able to fit it in the car when we go camping in the Lakes in August!
One problem I'm still finding with both ours, is that the seats don't really provide sufficient back support when on a long trip ... after about three hours, I start feeling it.
Are there any adaptations anyone has made to provide more back support ... especially higher up the back?
Don't know if this will help or not Kelper..But a few years ago I knew a lady who had chronic back problems...And had trouble getting comfy on any seat...She carried a small wicker support thingy for her back wherever she went...I was thinking you could maybe adapt something like that for the backrest on your kayak..Held on with bungee cords or something....

id consider moving any footrest towards you if you haven't got any maybe improvise some how, mines a grade 5 2 man raft but has no foot rest or a decent back rest so after a hour i feel like ive done a thousand or so sit ups stomach just cramps up
we improvised with some airbags bunged/gaffa taped to the raft

Thanks, guys ... useful ideas.
Have got foot rests ... help a lot when I'm solo ... but if two people then the leg room is more restricted anyway (I'm tall) ... I'll try some improvising to raise the back .... maybe an old car seat!
