Hi , I have 2 teenagers 13 & 16 and friends have teens too, can anyone recommend any sites for these hard to please kids - the normal parks and playing games just doesnt cut it anymore! HELP! :-) thanks

Thank for this Bowies, we've done Alton Towers for the last 4 years and they are a bit bored of theme parks now - I was thinking more of adventure places like high ropes etc etc

What about campsites near adventure or activity centres, canoes/horse riding/rock climbing or similar?

There are plenty just depends on what your muppets like.

My kids are 11 and 13 and they still love camping and enjoy the board games and reading but I know what you mean - they are getting to an age where hide and seek round the site doesnt quite cut it any more.

Have you thought about Haven? You can get some amazing deals off season and if you go with the right attitude its good fun. We do one Haven trip every year for the kids then other trips to sites that are a bit more Mum and Dads cup of tea!

I also agree on the approach of finding something to do then finding a site nearby. What about Dalby Forest? Mountain biking/Go Ape/BBQs in the forest. Look at Pexton Moor Farm campsite.

We sometimes take the bikes with us and find some mountain biking near by. So long as the kids have got something to do then they are happy.
