Robin Hood Caravan Park at Slingsby for Castle Howard - You are also close to Hovingham and the Howardian Hills. Capesthorne Hall is about 9 miles from Lyme Park The National Trust does have some locations that have caravan parks in or near to the site - think they are in the handbook. National Trust places tend to have roofs so are great to visit when its raining. We use English Heritage when its fine as they tend not to have a roof!!!! Phil
