Just got back into riding my bike to and from work, now I realise its summer, but need to think ahead.
Im looking for recommendations as to lights for my bike. both in actual models, and what setup is best.

My main route to and from work is largly unlit, So, I was thinking 2 sets of lights, one flashing, one static, as I have, as a driver, almost missed seeing cyclists with just flashers due to looking between flashes.
Looking at LED, decent battery life, looking to spend around the £75 mark for the whole lot.

cheap flashing LEDs are not too bad, but want something decent for my front main light, and the choice these days is mad!!

I would go for flashing and traditional static on + The brightest hi vis vest I could find. I don't know if the flashers alone are actually legal as they are not always on.

Bigger the better.

technically no, flashers alone are not allowed, doesnt seem to stop most folk though.
my rucksack is bright orange with reflective stuff on it, will be buying more clothes, jackets etc as the weather changes.
I've seen a couple of nice Cree LED front lights, they come as a pair, one is then demountable to use as a torch.

Got me a Cree T6 Bike light last year, cost about £20 c/w battery, so got a spare battery as well for £10.

Superb 800 Lumens brightness, the light also works as a head torch when needed.

Free delivery from China, but did take about a fortnight to arrive, well worth the wait, same item in local bike shop would have cost over £100!.

Always have two back lights because if you only have one and it goes out you could be in the deep stuff without knowing it. The flashing light is to be seen by the sokid veam is to see. Good recommendation above.

Yep Roy c, I have 3 of the Smart Lunar R1 rear bike lights, they are super bright with a 1 Watt Cree LED.

2 of them are mounted on the rear rack, and my rear rack trunk bag has one as well.

Probably illegal or something for me to have so much rear light brightness on my bike, but hey ho.
