Can anyone recommend an app for android tablet that can be used for geocaching, both on and off line.

I have done an internet search but can't find anything that suits my needs and is FREE.

Any help,advice, links would be gratefullt received.

Thanks for the replies and the link, unfortunately my tablet ( HP Slate 7 ) isn't compatible with this app ( version ). Any other suggestions, please.

Well i've looked around the internet for a soloution, and come up empty handed. I'm guessing nobody else has an answer either.

If you search for Geocaching on Play, there are a huge number of apps.

I can't comment on most of them, but Neongeo will download cache details for off line use.

You can try out the free version, the paid for version was a couple of quid when I bought it.

It runs on a Samsung Note 10.1 with no issues.

It uses the official API to access Geocaching.coms Database.

Thanks again for your suggestions. I still can't find anything that works well enough.

I think i will stay with my garmin Etrex or get a dongle for my HP Tablet hwen it is required. On the subject of dongles, what is the best, with regards to cost ( one off or monthly ), and data amount. Does the data end when the month ends, or is there no time limit on usage ( can i "dip in and out" ) until the cost has been used up.
