Hi All im looking for some ware to take the kids (10 years and 14 years both boys) away for october half term but im struggling. Want to go some ware that may have some kind of medieval events going on. Would also like to have to opportunity to do a bit of walking in forests to do a bit of mushroom hunting and see the changing colours of the trees.

Any area below leeds would be best as i live in south wales. Any further up just takes to long for a week away.

Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated.
