Soar Mill Cove, westerner still of Dartmouth (near Salcombe) is great but can be exposed.

Soar Mill Cove is beautiful, but I've only been there by walking the coast path and the climb back up is sooooo steep!

Can you get close by road and walk down from the hotel?

Yes, you can. We used to stay at a site near there, Sun Park, long ago converted to statics.

Just thought of another one, St. Brides Haven in Pembrokeshire, a lovely rock girt cove with sand in between. No facilities, you can park for free just above the beach.

Many of the beaches round this part of the world are great, and all with free parking...

Within an easy drive I have..
Banff Links
Fraserburgh
Cruden Bay - all in Aberdeenshire.

The first two have adjacent campsites and MH's can stay on the pier at Cruden bay.

One I remember from the past - some 40 years ago, but it will still be there - is Portrush in N.Ireland.

-------------
Two drifters off to see the world.

I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.

Camusdarach near Arisaig. Actually, any of the beaches round there are gorgeous.

Calgary Bay, Mull
