Potter Heigham is one of the major boating centres of the Broads with two big boat hire firms there, Herbert Woods and Broads Haven. There's a huge car park for Herbert Woods boat hire and river trips right opposite the Latham's store, you should have no trouble parking a motorhome there as I've seen them there before.

The main hire firms when I used to go there were Blakes and Hoseasons but that would have been back in the 70's.

Hoseasons and Blakes are still around but there are many more boat hire firms now than years ago. Herbert Woods and Broads Haven are the two largest in Potter Heigham, Richardsons based at Stalham is another big one and Barnes Brinkcraft based at Wroxham is another. I suggested Potter Heigham to the op as I'm a regular visitor there and I know for certain there'll be no problem parking a motorhome in the Latham's/Herbert Woods carpark

Richardsons are very good at allowing the smaller motorhomes to park up (Not the Coach sized ones though, due to yard space, especially during peak times!)
Clive Richardson is himself a Motor home enthusiast, and has done a conversion of his own in the past.
At least theres the security of a locked yard and CCTV on the entrance and outbuildings at Stalham once the workers have gone home, which is more than l can say for some of the Wroxham based yards that offer nothing more than a prepaid public carpark.
