Mon. Great day at Ironbridge. Bridge, little town, river walk.Blist hill victorian town is shut on Mondays, which suited us, as less people around I would guess. Car parks were free (for now) as Dave above said. I highly recommend the Iron trail walk. 3.5 mile circular walk. Get the map from visitor information centre (near co-op) and follow it how it suggests and not from the other end as its a lot of steps up if you do. Its a gentle walk up and round and some interesting stop offs and beautiful views too and steps down the other end.

Wont put any more of the bridge as don't want to spoil it for you, but its a wonderful structure when seen up close.

Carding Mill valley leads to the Long Mynd, not the Malvern Hills. So many great places. Caer Caradoc on the opposite side of the valley is lovely too.
