Newquay.......Busy right now?

Hi folks off down to Newquay area in a few days... Monkey tree park. Not been before, hope its ok. Tried in vain to get in at St. Ives. Had no luck tho. So took what we could.
Just wondering if Newquay, and Perranporth are busy just now. If, anyones down that area.

Hi Kevin, Visited last week and it was as I would expect but don’t know what you expect?! Site is a way out but not too far and has reasonable reputation.
Neither town is much to shout about but the beaches are superb.

To be honest, Not bad reviews... so take what we get. Caravan park, wise.
Just wondering if the towns where mobbed? Still trying to avoid overcrowded places, that's all.
Don't know what to expect with staycations this year. Just had a week at Scarborough, that was rammed every where!

We are in Cornwall at the minute although staying on the other coast! I would say Cornwall is quite busy, but it is possible to stay away from the big tourist draws. Yesterday we had a lovely walk around part of the south west coast path which ended up in Fowey. The coast path was practically deserted, we only passed a couple of walkers, but Fowey itself was absolutely rammed with people, so much so that we just grabbed a Cornish pasty and left immediately.
