More success for Fifth Wheel at caravan industry awards
Local tourer and caravan manufacturer, Fifth Wheel Company beat off some of the biggest names in the caravan industry to win a Caravan Club Caravan Design Award for the ninth year in a row.
The Rhuallt based family business won the title of ‘Best Fifth Wheel Caravan’ for its flagship model the Celtic Rambler, at the Motorhome and Caravan Show held at the NEC in October. The awards recognise the very best that the UK caravan and European touring industry has to offer.
The Celtic Rambler is Fifth Wheel’s luxurious flagship tourer often described as a ‘penthouse on wheels’. Its innovative slide-out feature creates an extra 3m square of space, creating a spacious living area.
Managing Director of Fifth Wheel, Adrian Parry- Jones, said: “We are delighted to have won another Caravan Club Caravan Design Award. To win an award every year for nine years is something we are immensely proud of.
“We are constantly looking at ways to improve our models and to provide the highest quality product to our customers – this award is a testament to the hard work of all our team. Everyone from the designers to the sales team and administrators and Apprentices have all worked hard to get us where we are today.”
During the show, Fifth Wheel launched a new layout to its single-axle Inos caravan, which was runner-up in another award category. As well as displaying fifth wheel tourers the Celtic Rambler and DreamSeeker, plus the company’s twin-axle Inos caravan.
