Looking for a recommendation for external antenna, plus router, is it better than tethering the phone.

We have a TP Link 4G Cat 6 Router which works very well for us. We don’t have an external antenna and haven’t needed one. We have mounted the router on the inside bulkhead, just beneath the panoramic skylight on our caravan. We thought about an antenna and were tempted by the poynting puck, but as we were getting a good signal without one, we decided to hold off.

Thanks, i was looking at a cat 6 router that has a dual sim option, which seems like a good idea, we are on a site that has reasonable reception for our phones but can sometimes hang and drop out. I hope the dual SIM idea will give us the resilience we need to have movie night without interruptions

I have a Huawei E5785 which has sockets for an external aerial which is like this Ebay item 404912803969 Its not dual sim but we never have issues and stream via a Firestick
