As above, NEVER buy a static without having a pitch for it.
Statics sold off-site are cheap for a reason. Most of the value is where it is, not what it is.
Not only do you have to find somewhere to put it (which is close to impossible in the UK) you have to arrange for transport, siting, connection, commissioning, none of which are cheap, and the park will possibly insist on their own siting, connection and commissioning crew carrying out the work at your expense.
You also have to factor in not just finding a pitch, but finding somewhere that is :
(a) suitable (no good having a static so far from home you can hardly ever get there)
(b) with a pitch fee you can afford (the area you want is not cheap).
(c) with terms and conditions that you are happy to accept.
Find a park you like first, then ask them if they accept bring-ons, and if not (almost certainly the case) what they have for sale.
The order of importance is, area, park, position on the park, and finally the static itself.

The above is all on the assumption that you want a holiday park.
If you want a residential park, then it really will be impossible to find anywhere to put your own static on - it will have to be either a ready sited park home, or an empty pitch and buying a new home via the park operator.
ADDED:
Have you considered a seasonal touring site (one where you have your own touring caravan, but site it for the whole season in the same place?)
