Hi,

We have a atlas pisces static lodge and we would like to remove the sofa bed and replace with free standing sofas.
Can anyone tell me if they have done it please?

i have removed fixed furniture from other statics, so it is possible, however on one of them, the furniture had been fitted by stapling the timber to the framework of the van from OUTSIDE, before the cladding was added, so more work had to be done internally on the 'cosmetics'

usually the carpet is fitted before the internal walls and furniture are added, but just check there is carpet underneath anything you want to remove and that the internal wall is complete, behind the behind the furniture.

one of the biggest space savers in most vans, is removing the fire/false chimney breast - on some vans its a great additional space on others though the additional/surrounding cabinetry makes it a less attractive 'project'
