Hello again Ste..
If your model is the 'Electrically Heated' model, then you'll certainly notice an improvement, as the extra low level vents that are required for gas heaters will not exist. (Unless it has been converted)
Even if not, you will still benefit.
I used plug-in electric heaters in my old static, so I was able to
(temporarily) seal off some of the vents. I still made sure my Carbon Monoxide Alarm was active, didn't want to worry my wife.
After fitting the insulation, it is advised to cover it with 'industrial strength' PVC Sheeting, tacked all the way round at short intervals, for a neat (and extra layer) finish.
It will pay for itself eventually, but abviously only in the cold times.
Best not to hurry, assistance will save time and temper
