I could do with a bit of advice, I bought a used static caravan last April it has 3 bedrooms 1 double which is fine and 2 twins - one twin I want to turn into a single and the other one I haven't got a clue, as it has staggered bunk beds and obviously meant for children my daughter is 21. Apparently the beds were changed 5 months earlier, so it would be nice if I could sell the twin beds. I am completely new to caravanning and would appreciate the advice.
Hi..
I'm not saying that you won't get the info you are after on here..but while you wait, it may be worth also posting on a site that has a specific "static" caravan section...?
It would also be worth just having a general online search for static caravan bunk suppliers etc, just to see what is available "off the shelf"?
(and maybe search for images, for ideas?)
Having said that, if you know what you want to end up with, I would've thought a half decent chippy/handyman would be able to sort it for you?
Edit- Oops! I see that this has been moved to a sub-section that I didn't know we had!
dont do anything for the fist year, then you will have worked out what to do or how to use the space. a friend of ours has turned their spare bedroom into a utility, large fridge freezer and washing machine. you need to check measurements of doors etc, but windows are not that difficult to remove and refit.
they also turned a small separate toilet and shower into one large one and it looks brilliant
just be careful about making permanant changes though - just because it suits you, it might affect any future sale price by going to 2 beds from 3
