I have just bought a 2003 Willerby Lyndhurst, and am considering internal changes. The first one to mind is replacing the towel ring in the bathroom with a 2-rod towel rail. But I guess (from reading similar posts on this forum) that the internal partition will be of the stud variety. Can anyone give me (at least) a rough idea a) if there are any studs (other than the one to which the ring is presumably attached) somewhere inside the internal wall, and b) their approximate position?
Why not ask Willerby directly? Most manufacturers have pretty helpful technical departments, and they will be able to tell you what the spacing of the uprights is.
With plasterboard on studs or battens I can tell where they are by gently tapping with a knuckle moving slowly across the wall. Between studs the sound is hollow but it goes dead when over a stud or batten.
