...to use as a holiday home.

I've trawled the internet for reviews of static sites but don't seem to have much luck.

If anyone can help please then I'm looking for a site that:

1. Is in North/East Yorkshire
2. Allows dogs
3. Is relatively inexpenisve (Around £1500 for ground rent)
4. Is good for children without it being a chav-fest such as Primrose Valley etc.
5. Has a long season.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.
Ian

With your budget i do not thin you will find anything in the Scarborough area, for this coast you need to be looking further south towards bridlington and hornsea.

You could try Highfield caravans at withernsea - don't have the web URL - but should get it on google- that area is probably best value on the coast. Low Skirlington is also very nice but not sure re prices. In the Filey area you could try one of the private sites such as flower of may - perhaps cheaper and quieter than primrose valley? Perhaps inland sites may be cheaper? Have you tried flamingoland?

Hope that helps

Hi Kingbrody,

Did you find some where? I frinds of ours have a static on a small privately owned site, not one of these big corporate ones. They pay only a few hundred site fees and we have been once for a holiday and it was wonderful, really quiet as there are only 8 statics on the site, nice enough shower and loo block but no laundrette we had to take the washing in to town.

This one is in Wales but I am sure there must be others in your location.
