Hi all seriously looking now for out first tourer,listened to a few opinions but basicall i have 2 children 9& 10  are fixed bunk beds the way to go through experience.

We have a 10 yr old and usually take a friend. We find the twin dinette (dinette at front and back) best as the children have their own seating area to play if raining with a sliding partition door they can close to make it their own little room. The beds then make up into either 2 singles or a double or you can get some that then have bunks you can make up to make a 5 or 6 berth. It does mean making beds up at night, but there is so much more room to play if needed - it really depends which you prefer.

I noticed you said tourer, if that is the case then you have posted this in the wrong section, this is for statics, not touring caravans.  You need to post this in the caravan section.
