A static caravan in Wales has been sold for £550,000, according to BBC North West Wales.

The caravan has a beach frontage at The Warren Abersoch. It has underfloor heating and reflective double glazing. The van has a 20-year lease.

Feel so sorry for all you caravanners who missed out on this deal

I asked the site owner for a twenty five year lease to justify the huge price tag but he wouldn't budge.I therefore told him to stick it right up his aras and promptly drove off.

Why would anyone pay that much for a Static?  I bet just down the road are a load of houses for sale with a much smaller price tag with freehold.

Abersoch is so different to areas just a short drive away.  I have never worked out the attraction - must be a sailing thing.
