Hi I am looking to buy a static from a offsite dealer as they are much cheaper and want to site it in the East Yorks area near Hull but I am having difficulty finding a site preferably near the sea to take me they seem to want to sell there's which I suppose is reasonable but the price seems a little high any body any ideas.

Try Newton Shores, East Newton, near Aldbrough (I can't do links on this computer or copy & paste, it's rubbish!!).
It's close to the beach and is basic but the pitches are fully serviced. They have a couple of statics on the site. Hope you manage to find somewhere suitable
Cheers Lurcher Mac and thanks for your help I will have a drive up there if the weather ever improves it sounds ok but it might be a bit quiet for us and with 6 grandkids we need a bit of entertainment.
Cheers Pete Train
Very few parks will take secondhand static caravans. Often the price when on the park includes things like - delivery to the park, gas, electric connections & checks, sewerage & water connections, steps etc etc.. What sometimes seems a cheap deal buying off park doesn't always end up so.
£1500 is reasonable - add to that delivery charges though and make sure you have a discussion about at what point do the site take over siting of the van. you don't want your van delivered to a car park and the site not be able to move it to the actual pitch. I have heard instances of overhead cranes having to be utilised !!!
