Hey thank you for the warm welcome friends, I was trying to respond much earlier but I kept getting a “Oops! Sorry! The Page can't be displayed!”, in big and bold green letters. I switched to using another browser though and all seems well now.
No Leanne I have no long term plans, my health has taken a wallop so short term everything is the order of the day for me at this time J. I intend to let the Static go and have a smaller tourer type caravan with mobility in mind, I am going to advertise on here actually, possibly this evening. My local council are enjoying their power over me at the moment, soon as I told them I spent some nights in it, I got hit with a council tax bill and they gave it its very own address which surprised me as it is only at the bottom of my garden and now that I have told them I no longer stay in it and it is not a residence they’ve told me to move it 4 metres closer to the house Grrr.
Thanks for the advice Jack+Jon, I’m OK in that respect, I’ve moved out of the city to take advantage of the greenery around here and I have no neighbours within view in 3 directions, just the smoky M42 in the fourth J. You are very spot-on in your second post here, people are being forced to come up with ever more imaginative ways to meet the rising costs of owning/using a caravan of whichever description.
I am glad that I’ve found this site and I already think I am agreeing with you Ian – and thank you for the welcome!!
My personal camp site ha ha - be careful what you wish for Ronni…anyone inviting me to chat is either driven mad or asleep within the first 20 hours or so J I remember those floods well, I came around the corner of the road we lived in at the time (west heath in Birmingham) to see my wifes car floating toward me in the middle of the street after the river Rea had risen to the point of flood.
Thank you all so much for the welcome friends…
------------- Loving It!
