Hi All im new to this forum.
Me and my other half have bought a 1992 atlas status and are renovating it.
The caravan is 25meters away from a home on private land. There is a fuse board in the garage with 52amps slare on a 100amp box.
Do i need to use SWA and run it underground... or can i just plug the blue 3pin round cable into an adapter and connect to a fuse board?
I aplogise in advance as this has probs been asked loadsss of times.
Just plug your normal hookup lead with an adaptor into the garage supply.
If you start messing about with permanent underground supplies you then fall foul of the supply regs,

You need one of these,

You need to add the total wattage of all appliances and if it exceeds 3000 Watts then it may not.
You need to think about what appliances would be running at the same time and if you wouldn't expect to exceed 3000 Watts total while they are running then it will.
You will probably find that the caravan circuit breaker is rated at 10 amps so it will trip before the fuse blows in the 13A plug top.
