I have been searching for an affordable site (not a big brand park) only want basics for static prefer farm or similar site that are not hugely expensive! Big ASK   I know but does anyone know of sites like this?

I think there may be a couple of vans for sale on the site we are on. It's in north Northumberland and is a small private site of only 34 very well maintained old vans. Nothing at all on site, just peace and quiet and very reasonably priced.

Hi travelbug, to be honest I haven't a clue but I don't think there are any spare plots. You could give them a ring on 01665 574351 and the site is Coe-Burn Caravan Park. Vans are not connected to the sewage system which is one of the reasons the rent is only £900 per 7 month season so you have to empty the wastemaster but I think that is a small price to pay for such a lovely place. If you do give a ring please don't mention me.

I'm sure there are a couple of vans for sale at around 5-6k. The site is right opposite the entrance Thrunton Woods with its herd of red deer but on site it's the red squirrels that create the entertainment, they even come onto the decking, pheasants the size of small turkeys and small birds by the thousand. It really is heaven.

Thanks travelbugbg I've found it and that is the one. I've printed all the details and been in touch with a friend as we reckon it would have been nice to let us know, particularly as we've only been on since June. Still, I've passed the details on to my BIL who could be interested.
Unless the fees go up to a stupid amount I don't think I'll ever move as it is just perfect for us.
