I have an Atlas Ruby Super 35x12 built in 2000 and am planning to install Sky tv cabling this coming weekend. My question is whether anyone knows the simplest way to route the cable into the van, and whether there is a pre-determined access point for doing so?
It has a tv aerial socket but so far, on a cursory first look on a miserable wet morning, could not see where any tv aerial cable was coming in. (The only previous owner never used a tv.) Also from inside the van the area where the tv would sit is pretty well blocked by inbuilt low cupboards so cannot see any floor area to readily drill through. any help greatly appreciated, many thanks

We had a Pemberton static and it had a low wall unit where the tv point was. There was a small gap between the van wall and the side of the unit. I drilled a hole in the floor, fitted a cable grommet and then drilled a hole into the side of the unit low down. The cable was routed through into the side of the cupboard and another hole was drilled to take it through the unit to the tv point aperture. It was a clean job and the cable was hidden by the curtains. The cable ran under the van to the Dish. I sealed the hole under the van around the cable with Duck Tape.

Before deciding on this action - I noted that the wall behind the tv unit backed onto the cooker. Under the cooker was a ventilation access point which I considered feeding the cable through and drilingl a hole to the unit.
I could have taken the drawer out of the unit and drilled a hole through the wall to feed the cable to the tv cable aperture in the top of the tv unit. This may have been a better option or not.
