My Daughter and I are moving back to the U.K at the end of August after 8 years in Switzerland.I don't know if someone has a static or caravan, or knows of someone who would be willing to rent to us on a slightly longer basis, whilst I look for a more permanent home in Taunton? My daughter will be attending college and I will continue to work for my employers here, albeit on a part-time basis. We are non smokers, have no pets, and happy and able to pay upfront. Reasonable distance to Taunton Somerset.

I had to do this for my daughter a couple of years back. Look on gumtree, put in the area you want and look for private owners who rent their statics out for holidays and just ring them to see if they want to do a longer let. You will get plenty of no`s but I just kept ringing around untill I found someone who had a 6 week gap in their bookings and rented it for those 6 weeks. As you want it for the end of August onwards you might get lucky as the kids are back to school the following week. I would suggest you try and get one with central heating as it will start to get chilly come October. Good luck.
